A playful yet sophisticated illustration made with the Jewish lunar calendar in mind. This version of the moon phase prints in bold and pastel colors was originally made for the At The Well calendar marking Jewish time in 5781. Available as a ketubah or gematria print.

This archival giclée print on fine art paper portrays cycles of the moon over different natural landscapes. The cycles of the moon shape the Jewish calendar, and the evening is the start of each day within that system. Scenes include Joshua Tree National Park, ice caps, a sandy beach, a lush coniferous forest, tree branches in fall and more. Each vignette includes a different moon cycle.

This print was created by converting hand drawings into digital collage, then printed on Somerset cotton paper with archival giclée inks. The typeface and text are customizable and you can select them on the Ketubah Text page.
