Choose from text options available on the BSP Ketubah page or write your own. If you’d like to use a custom text of your choosing, paste below or otherwise or email a text file to info@batsarahpress.com with both clients' last names in the subject line as well as "Custom Ketubah Text". Please be sure to have your ceremonial officiant review before sending to me. Note that custom texts require processing and thus require a processing and translation fee of $50.
Some couples choose to add an enlarged quote to the ketubah, for instance "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine". If this interests you please write the text of your choosing in the given space, or just note that you are interested in exploring quotes.
Symbolic Interpretation
Each ketubah made by BSP is informed by Jewish texts and mystic interpretations along with influences of additional literary and spiritual traditions. To include an insert describing your artwork's meaning, check the box below.
Signing the ketubah
Number of Witnesses *
In Jewish tradition, a marriage contract is made legal once signed by two witnesses not related to either partner by blood. To stand witness to a marriage is considered a great honor. Some couples choose to ask four friends to sign as witnesses.
Would you like a formal line denoting where to sign or a more minimalist approach with either no indicator or simply writing the title of the signee without a line? If this is confusing please check out Ketubahs in the BSP gallery (see "Shifting Perspectives" and "Agate" Ketubah as examples).

Getting to know you...
This section helps me to understand your background as a couple, what you value most in your lives, and in one another so we can work together toward making a Ketubah that reflects those values.
To be answered by both members of the couple.
Find inspiration. You can get started on Pinterest. My accounts, batsarahpress and Instagram: batsarahpress have some helpful imagery. Do your homework. Then please send me 5-10 images that appeal to you, or start your own Pinterest board and share with me. (This can include things you and your partner enjoy, colors, art, music, places, patterns, styles, etc.)
I find it helpful to build a shared narrative with the couples I work with. What is the story of your relationship? What are your shared goals for your life together as you see them now? What do you most appreciate about your partnership?

Ala carte design options not included in the base price.
